STAG NIGHT IDEAS

Ahh yes the stag night or is it to be nights gentlemen? These days it’s just as likely to be 2 or 3 than the solo send off and why not, it’s the last bite of the freedom cherry the soon to be spliced groom is going to get! You’ve got to make the most of it for two reasons, firstly and most importantly it’s one of the biggest nights of his life, it might not appear that way but it is – doesn’t mean going mad but it does mean going memorable. Secondly it’s a couple of free passes for you and the lads … beautiful.

So that means ... here it comes ... planning.

PLANNING YOUR STAG NIGHT

As you know depending on the current training levels of the group the night can last from a few hours into daylight, so getting an itinerary that offers a plan for the evening and the group will put you on the right road.

You should have range to keep the group interested and onside, you want to get about a little bit and not sink into the same venue for the duration of the evening … you can do that anywhere. Think of it as four quality demanding quarters, 2 either side of midnight and 2 after. So for Q1 you’ve got the first pinters – where you and the boys go to blow the froth off a couple to commence proceedings the venues are important and you may even want a little local theme but as long as the venue is a good one the momentum should be established. You’ve got to move on from early beers with a focus or you’ll be malingering in the boozer, so this could take a number of forms from selected bars or a restaurant to a theme like a comedy club, once you’ve achieved this you’ve tamed the beast of stag night expectation and happily you’re into the second quarter of the evening – the post dinner / pre-midnight slot. This is where pre-arranged planning comes into its own. The potential for stag night disaster through lack of planning here is enormous, so get this bit right at all costs. But you might opt for a late dinner or VIP club or bar entry. That’s 2 stages done and a happy group all onside and interested. Q3 the first post midnight slot can either be relaxed and you could remain busting moves in the city’s finest club or you could opt for another addition to the mission such as a casino or lap dancing. Believe it or not that’s the lion’s share of the job done, Q4 is about knowledge, this time of night the group’s dynamic is a lottery so rather than plan something here just have the knowledge, like the keeper of the keys you will be revered like no previous bestman.

Of course we have plenty of additional options like booze cruises, horse racing, greyhounds, mud wrestling and more for you to mix it up like a bag of stag night allsorts – just tell us how to help and we’ll help you plan something pretty special.

It’s the extra effort, understanding and putting you first that makes GoStag your absolute best choice.
